The Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta
Our first stop of this tour is the premier shopping location in the area, The Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta, located on your right. You can shop high-end stores without high-end prices like Kate Spade, Michael Kors and Tommy Hilfiger.

The outlets also host a variety of events throughout the year including author talks, live music, contests and festivals. Their annual Fall Festival often includes pumpkin carving, movie screenings, face painting and much more. There is always something to do at the outlets.

We are about to head into the heart and soul of Woodstock, Downtown. Here, you’ll find plenty of unique and locally owned stores as well as family owned restaurants.

If you want to eat locally sourced and delicious meals, head over to Rootstock on your right. Enjoy specials like housemade ricotta or gnocchi carbonara. However, if you visit, you’ve got to come for their Sunday Brunch Buffet. It does not disappoint.

In the warmer months if you’re looking for a place to have a great picnic, head over to the Park at City Center which offers plenty of green space right here in downtown Woodstock.

The park also offers a beautiful WW2 and 9/11 Memorial featuring tracks from the subway station beneath the World Trade Center. The lower section of the park has an outdoor amphitheatre which often hosts live music and theatrical performances throughout the summer.

Woodstock Middle and High School
In the Towne Lake area of Woodstock you’ll also find Woodstock Middle and High School. These schools are conveniently located next to each other, making transitioning and drop-off easy.

Woodstock High School had its first graduating class in 1999. Another great fact is the school became STEM certified in 2018, making it one of only 12 High-schools to be certified in the state.

Another fun fact is both have the same mascot. Go Wolverines!

Woofstock Dog Park
On your left we will pass Woofstock Dog Park. If you have any furry friends, make sure to bring them here. Woofstock is a 5 acre park that offers sections for both large and small breeds to play freely and safely.

Originally this park was the location of the Walden Chase Apartment Complex but was destroyed due to flooding in 2009. The dog park was then built to better accommodate the floodplain and prevent future damage.

Woofstock is also in close proximity to Nodaway Creek Trail, so if your four legged companion isn't worn out, you can continue down the paved path and take them on an adventure to downtown.

First Baptist Church of Woodstock
Welcome to our last stop on this tour, The First Baptist Church of Woodstock. Built in 2004, The first Baptist Church is a cornerstone of Woodstock, serving over 19,000 members in the community. The church can hold up to 7,000 members and offers ministry groups for members just young enough to crawl, all the way to those navigating retirement.

Aside from being a place of worship, the church offers many recreational opportunities such as youth and adult soccer leagues and an on-site gym facility. The church believes in giving back to the community and serves as the local food pantry for the area.
