Ethan Allen Park and Tower
At the next light we are going to turn left into Ethan Allen Park. It's a perfect spot to slow down and stretch your legs while taking in some of Burlington’s best views. Park here at the entrance and follow the short, easy trail through the woods to the park’s centerpiece, the Ethan Allen Tower. Built in the 1920s to honor Revolutionary War hero Ethan Allen, this stone observation tower rewards visitors with a climb worth every step.

From the top, you’ll enjoy sweeping panoramic views of Lake Champlain, the Adirondack Mountains to the west, the Green Mountains to the east, and the city of Burlington spread out below. Even the walk to the tower is part of the experience, with quiet forest paths and a peaceful, tucked-away feel. It’s an ideal stop to get some fresh air, snap photos, and appreciate just how much natural beauty surrounds Burlington.

Taking a UCPlaces tour is fun and easy.
