Gleich vor uns liegt das legendäre „Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas“-Schild, eines der meistfotografierten Wahrzeichen in ganz Nevada und das inoffizielle Tor zum Las Vegas Strip.

Bevor wir da sind: Herzlich willkommen in Las Vegas! Auf unserer Tour erkunden wir die Geschichte, Legenden, Architektur und die gigantischen Attraktionen, die eine kleine Eisenbahnstadt in der Wüste in eines der berühmtesten Reiseziele der Erde verwandelt haben.

Das Schild da vorne begrüßt Besucher schon seit 1959 und ist weltweit zu einem echten Symbol geworden. Wenn du magst, gibt es einen extra Parkplatz für einen Fotostopp. Der Spot ist super beliebt, stell dich also auf Trubel ein, besonders in den Abendstunden.

Luxor – die Pyramide von Las Vegas
Zu deiner Rechten siehst du das unverkennbare Luxor Hotel & Casino, eines der absoluten Wahrzeichen des Las Vegas Strip. Inspiriert vom alten Ägypten ragt die riesige schwarze Pyramide über 30 Stockwerke in den Wüstenhimmel und wird am Eingang von einer gigantischen Sphinx bewacht.

Als das Luxor 1993 eröffnete, prägte es eine Ära, in der Resorts hier nicht mehr nur Hotels waren, sondern eigene Welten mit aufwendigen Themen. Im Inneren erwartet dich eines der größten Atrien der Welt – so gigantisch, dass mehrere echte Passagierflugzeuge unter seiner gewaltigen Kuppel Platz hätten.

Schau mal hoch zur Spitze der Pyramide. Nachts schießt der „Luxor Sky Beam“ kerzengerade in den Himmel – er gilt als der stärkste Lichtstrahl der Welt. In klaren Nächten sieht man ihn noch aus zig Kilometern Entfernung. Er ist ein echter Wegweiser für Touristen und Piloten im Landeanflug.

Auch wenn sich der Look der Stadt über die Jahre verändert hat: Das Luxor bleibt eine der markantesten Ikonen des Strip. Es erinnert uns an das coole Motto von Vegas: Wenn du schon ein Hotel baust, warum dann nicht gleich eine Pyramide?

How to take a UCPlaces tour
Taking a UCPlaces tour is fun and easy.
Download the app (Android or iOS), purchase the tour (either here on the website, or from within the app).

UCPlaces acts as your personal tour guide, providing self-guided audio tours fully navigated within our app using GPS-based navigation. You won't need to switch between external navigation apps.
Whenever you approach a point of interest (POI) on the tour, our app will automatically play the relevant audio story at the right time and place.
If you start the tour before reaching the first POI, the app will navigate you to the starting point and then begin the tour.

We have been working hard to deliver a great experience. Though you may run into unexpected obstacles (the world is constantly changing), our app has multiple features and mechanisms in place to help you overcome them, including: AI assistance, force play an audio if you can't reach the stop, skip or return to stops, automatic rerouting and more.

Though all of our tours are primarily in English, many tours are muyltilingual (including: Spanish, German, Portuguese, French, Japanese, Hebrew, French, Arabic and more...).
