Juste devant nous, voilà le fameux panneau « Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas », l'un des monuments les plus photographiés du Nevada et la porte d'entrée officieuse du Strip.

Mais avant d'y arriver, bienvenue à Las Vegas ! Tout au long de cette visite, on va explorer l'histoire, les légendes, l'architecture et les attractions démesurées qui ont transformé une petite ville ferroviaire du désert en l'une des destinations les plus célèbres de la planète.

Ce panneau accueille les visiteurs depuis 1959 et est devenu un symbole mondialement connu. Si ça vous dit, il y a un parking aménagé pour vous arrêter et prendre des photos. C'est un endroit très prisé, alors attendez-vous à y trouver du monde, surtout en soirée.

Le Luxor, pyramide de Las Vegas.
Sur votre droite, impossible de rater le Luxor Hotel & Casino, l'un des bâtiments les plus célèbres du Strip. Inspirée de l'Égypte ancienne, cette immense pyramide noire s'élève sur plus de 30 étages au-dessus du désert, gardée par un sphinx géant juste à l'entrée.

À son ouverture en 1993, le Luxor a marqué le début d'une époque où les complexes de Vegas n'étaient plus de simples hôtels, mais de vraies expériences immersives aux décors incroyables. À l'intérieur, vous découvrirez l'un des plus grands atriums au monde, tellement immense qu'on pourrait y garer plusieurs avions de ligne.

Levez les yeux vers le sommet de la pyramide. La nuit, le "Luxor Sky Beam" projette un faisceau lumineux droit vers le ciel, considéré comme le plus puissant de la planète. Par temps clair, on l'aperçoit à des dizaines de kilomètres à la ronde, un vrai point de repère pour les touristes et les pilotes qui approchent de Las Vegas.

Taking a UCPlaces tour is fun and easy.

If you start the tour before reaching the first POI, the app will navigate you to the starting point and then begin the tour.

Though you may run into unexpected obstacles (the world is constantly changing), our app has multiple features and mechanisms in place to help you overcome them, including: AI assistance, force play an audio if you can't reach the stop, skip or return to stops, automatic rerouting and more.
